Your questions, straight answers

Are my files uploaded to your servers?
Page tools and OCR run entirely in your browser — those files are never uploaded. Documents you explicitly save to your account (for e-sign workflows or storage) are kept on our servers until you delete them. See the Privacy Policy.
Are the signatures legally valid?
MayaPDF embeds industry-standard PKCS#7 cryptographic signatures. With a self-signed certificate, Adobe Reader shows the signature with "validity unknown" until the certificate is trusted — that is expected behaviour, and the signature is still tamper-evident. Electronic records are recognised under India's Information Technology Act, 2000.
Which languages does OCR support?
Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese, Nepali, Sanskrit, and Urdu — plus English.
